What can you contribute to keep the Internet interesting?
On the Internet there are basically two types of users: those who contribute content and those who do not. For the Internet to be an interesting site, someone has to create content of interest. In recent times, thanks to social networks such as Facebook, it has been much easier to share material with other users, but someone has taken the time and trouble to create it.
In the pre-Facebook era, if you wanted to share texts, ideas, photos, videos ... with other people you faced a scenario that required a lot of knowledge: web hosting, HTML programming, domain registration ... Very few people had the technical capacity to upload content to the Internet and most of the pages visited were of companies, media and official organizations. It was an Internet in which users were basically passive: they received information but hardly generated content.
Nowadays it is easy, from any device, to upload content to social networks or press the "Like" button to share with other people a content that you have found on the Internet.
But that content we usually share with our circle of friends or acquaintances. Even if we mark that it is public, it is difficult for it to reach people who do not know us.
That is why it is important that there continue to be web pages and blogs outside of social networks in which many people contribute content, share knowledge, give ideas, help others or simply tell you what goes through their heads.
Maybe you do not plan to enter this category of users who create their own content, but there are three very simple things you can do to help this type of pages exist, and that it will not cost you neither time nor money:
The first is to click on the advertising banners that include many websites. E sta action you do not it will cost anything and the author of the web it would pose extra income that motivate him to continue publishing.
The second, which the authors greatly appreciate, is writing comments to the content. They mean that someone is there, on the other side, and that you have found the content motivating enough to make a comment, positive or negative, that almost does not matter. Often dialogues and exchanges of opinions are generated that are most interesting for both parties.
Finally, you can help spread among your acquaintances in social networks those contents that you have found interesting. This way you facilitate that more people can get to know certain pages or blogs that do not have easy to be known through investment in advertising. This will also make Google "fix" on these pages and increase your valuation in your searches.
So you know: when you're on a page whose content you thought was interesting: click on the advertisement, give your opinion and recommend it on your social networks.
